DISCO Expands Operations Leadership Team, Hires First Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As legal technology leader DISCO builds its operational excellence and efficiency as it continues to scale, the company today announced the expansion of its operations leadership team to include the company’s first Chief Operating Officer.

DISCO welcomes Sean Nathaniel as chief operating officer. Sean will build and lead a centralized operations team to improve DISCO’s cross-functional business processes, goal alignment, and communications. He reports to DISCO chief executive officer Kiwi Camara and is a member of the executive team.

Sean joins DISCO after nearly seven years at Upland Software, where he served as executive vice president of the workflow automation business unit and global chief technology officer. Previously, Sean was chief information officer and led global distribution at FileBound Solutions and director of technology development at GiftCertificates.com.

Further expanding the leadership of the operations team, DISCO welcomes Sal Caruso as chief information officer and Uttam Reddy as vice president of revenue operations, both reporting to the chief operating officer.

Chief Information Officer Sal Caruso will lead DISCO’s business and workplace technology strategy, overseeing the company’s IT procurement processes and implementing integrated company-wide business solutions to empower real-time, data-driven decisions. He will also lead DISCO’s corporate security and compliance efforts. Sal joins DISCO from One Call Care Management, where he was executive vice president and chief information officer. He also previously served in IT leadership roles at Apax Partners, Salesforce, Symantec and PeopleSoft.

Vice President of Revenue Operations Uttam Reddy will deliver operations support to DISCO’s revenue teams, including sales, professional services, customer success, and marketing organizations and will expand the capabilities of the sales operations team. Uttam joins DISCO from DoubleHorn/Liftr Insights, where he was chief operating officer. He previously held leadership roles at Accruent, Centurylink and Dell. He began his career at IBM.
